Around the time this was recorded (2000), I was rather keen on the Beatles pastiches written by Neil Innes for "The Rutles". I was especially impressed that most of the Rutles' tracks were "tied" to one or more Beatles originals, and fell to wondering: what if Innes had penned a track based on "Flying" from "Magical Mystery Tour"? Well, wonder no longer...
