Polyphon

One of my (comparatively) more experimental pieces on this album, its basis is three loops taken from my live solo guitar/loop-sampler performance on 21 July 2010, which is available from Bandcamp as "Gateway Suite". I then added some guitar synth parts over the loops.

The name "Polyphon" refers to a large 19th-century musical machine, which played pieces "programmed" onto large metal discs, whose "teeth" plucked metal prongs which sounded the notes. They tend to sound somewhat chaotic, rather like this piece...
